MEET CHRISTINA
Investing in Our Future
Christina is a native of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, but has lived in Monongalia County since 2006. She received her BA in political science and history from Gettysburg College (PA) and her MS and PhD in political science from Florida State University. She currently resides in Cheat Lake with her husband, Andrew, and their two children. Leo is currently a sixth grader at Mountaineer Middle School and Lila is a second grader at Cheat Lake Elementary School.
Christina is also an educator. She has been a part of the faculty in the department of political science at West Virginia University since 2006. She has been an active member of the WVU community, serving on a number of committees over the years. She teaches classes on international relations, including international political economy and international law and institutions. She is also active in her professional society, the International Studies Association, where she is currently co-program chair of their 2024 online conference. She has also served as a research mentor and academic advisor to countless numbers of students over the past eighteen years.
